Rokt’star Spotlight: Citlali Gómez

Senior Executive Assistant She/her
Can you tell us more about your role at Rokt?
As a Senior Executive Assistant at Rokt, my role is uniquely impactful because it’s closely integrated into the broader Support team. Unlike in my previous roles, where I often worked in isolation, at Rokt, I am part of a collaborative and vibrant team of brilliant, kind, and witty colleagues. We are the first line of contact for our executives and teams, which gives us the opportunity to create meaningful interpersonal connections and contribute to Rokt’s inclusive culture. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, offering encouragement, or genuinely engaging with colleagues about their lives, the Support team fosters an environment where everyone feels valued, seen, and supported—no pun intended!
You started a new employee resource group, Rokt’Estrellas, last year. What was your inspiration for this?
I was surprised to find that we didn’t have a Hispanic/Latinx affinity group when I first joined, especially given our NYC base. I’m passionate about culture and inclusion in the workplace, recognizing how much time we spend together, and I wanted to create a space where our community feels seen and valued. With the support of the People Team, I helped start Rokt’Estrellas for the Hispanic/Latinx community. Spaces like these foster community, culture, and a sense of belonging, which are especially meaningful to me as they highlight and uplift underrepresented groups—an experience many of us navigate daily, both in and outside the office.
Can you tell us a little more about Rokt’Estrellas’ goals?
Our three main objectives are ‘Cultural Awareness,’ ‘Advocacy and Representation,’ and ‘Community Engagement.’ We aim to highlight the diversity within the Hispanic and Latinx cultures and educate others on its richness. We also strive to advocate for the interests and needs of Hispanic and Latinx employees at Rokt, ensuring their voices are heard. Additionally, we’re working on initiatives to extend our impact beyond the workplace and give back to our communities.
What do you want all Rokt’stars to take away from Rokt’Estrellas’ role within the company?
As an immigrant and the daughter of immigrant parents, acclimating to a new country where resources or safe spaces weren’t easily accessible it lit a fire for me that I have carried throughout my professional career. If I can help an organization create spaces where people feel seen and heard, even for a moment, my hope is always that it will make a positive ripple effect of empathy. We all have a voice, and it’s valuable, so we should create spaces where these voices can be heard.
What are some of your hobbies or passions outside of the office?
I really enjoy spending time outdoors and powerlifting.
What is your favorite Rokt value and why?
Force for Good. I do personally believe that “actively investing in our people, communities and culture” unlocks not only possibilities for Rokt, but for the Rokt’stars on an individual and personal level. I appreciate that Rokt encourages all of us to expand our knowledge and expertise.
