We prioritize building a people-first culture and empowering everyone to have an equal voice. Transparency is embedded in every aspect of the company, from salaries to publishing this handbook, weekly CEO reports, bi-monthly global events and our annual conference.

Career ladder

All employees have access to Rokt’s Career Ladder, a wage transparency document that outlines the necessary skills for each role and the salary and stocks/equity associated with each position. All Rokt’stars, at all levels globally, are able to see the salaries and skills for every position in every department. This document is re-evaluated quarterly to ensure economic changes are considered and Rokt’stars are competitively compensated. Employees in the same role receive identical compensation regardless of their gender, race, or negotiation skills.

Open doors and office hours

Bruce Buchanan, our Founder and CEO, hosts regular office hours for employee questions and discussions. In addition, there are multiple other channels for employees to ask questions, share ideas, and be heard. Employees are encouraged to submit questions (anonymously if they like) via SuggestionOX or Google Chat which are answered by our executive teams openly and truthfully.

Fostering a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion is more than just the right thing to do, it is fundamental to Rokt’s success. We believe our collective strength comes from diversity – diversity of thought, gender, culture, ethnicity, race and socio-economic backgrounds among others – which is why we strive to make Rokt an inclusive space for everyone.


We believe diversity of perspectives and experiences drive innovation and problem solving. There is no place at Rokt for discrimination, harassment, or unequal treatment of any kind.


We celebrate having a diverse group of Rokt’stars who want to recognize days that are culturally or religiously important to them. We recently launched a program where Rokt’stars have a flexible public holiday structure to allow them to choose their own public holidays. Employees can select time off for holidays that are meaningful to them.


Rok’ts LGBTQIA+ programming is led by our employee group, Rainbow Rokts, whose mission is to create a safe space for colleagues searching for a sense of community, build a platform for education, awareness, personal growth, and aid to the LGBTQIA+ community outside of Rokt.

Health & wellness

We care a great deal about our Rokt’stars. We provide a variety of health (physical and mental) care programs including a zero cost monthly premium option in the US and a monthly Wellness allowance.


All Rokt’stars have stock options. If we succeed, everyone is rewarded. Our US employees also have access to retirement plans with a 4% dollar-for-dollar 401K matching plan.

Learning & development

We are committed to investing in our employees and their development through ongoing training, education, and coaching.
Every Rokt’star receives an annual ‘Level Up’ training allowance, which allows them to choose from a suite of Executive Coaches, personalized specialist training, conferences and events. We surround this bespoke support with scheduled monthly training for our people leaders, bi-monthly global events and our annual conference.

Work-life balance

20 paid days off plus 5 extra high-five days and 16 paid weeks of parental leave, and volunteer days for all employees.
Additionally, we have partnered with an acclaimed nutritionist and biochemist to run monthly wellbeing sessions, open to all Rokt'stars, on energy, movement, sleep, focus and stress management. We also offer a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office, in addition to the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world one week per quarter.
